ANYSORT Rice Quality Sorter Revolutionizes Traditional Rice Processing, Empowering Vietnamese Rice Mills to Achieve Rapid Growth

Growing from a small rice mill into a representative rice processing enterprise in Vietnam, the company’s remarkable development owes much to its visionary outlook and strategic brand choices. Mr. Nguyen is a seasoned veteran with over 35 years of experience in the grain industry. Fresh out of school in 1988, he noticed that the local high-quality rice varieties had no ready market. He quickly realized the opportunity to profit by transporting Vietnamese grain to regions suffering from grain shortages. After several years in the grain trade, he further saw the potential for higher profits by processing Vietnamese paddy into premium milled rice for direct export. In 2003, Mr. Nguyen founded his own company, integrating rice procurement, processing and sales into a full-service operation. He gradually shifted focus to building his own brand, established proprietary farms to control rice quality from the source, and took on regional customized orders—driving steady business growth. However, the traditional rice processing model relied on manual quality control, leading to inconsistent product quality and high operational costs. How to improve rice quality while reducing processing costs became an urgent challenge for Mr. Nguyen to address.

In 2019, Mr. Nguyen decided to expand his production capacity with a new factory and upgrade existing production lines. He consulted with numerous rice processing equipment manufacturers and proposed the innovative idea of "real-time data-driven rice quality monitoring". This concept aligned perfectly with ANYORT’s Cloud-Controlled Smart Production Line technology. At the time, ANYORT’s Quality Sorting 6S Line was still a newly launched technology, lacking full market validation. Critical questions remained unanswered: Could this theoretically intelligent production line meet strict rice quality standards? Would the data monitoring system deliver practical results? Could it ensure stable output in both yield and quality? All these required rigorous testing and verification by the R&D team.

As the pioneering enterprise to adopt ANYORT’s Quality Sorting 6S Smart Production Line, Mr. Nguyen’s factory received full support from ANYORT’s R&D team. The team dedicated immense effort to every aspect of the project—from production line blueprint design, hardware and software debugging of quality sorting equipment, to the construction of the central control system. The integrated system covers the entire rice processing workflow: rice sample data collection and transmission to the central control system, paddy husking via the huller, paddy-brown rice separation with gravity separators, and especially the control of color sorters in the middle processing stage. It monitors rice quality at every step, including paddy-brown rice separation, defective kernel sorting (discolored, white, broken rice), and adjusts processing parameters in real time based on data feedback to ensure consistent finished product quality. The line is also connected to automated packaging equipment, significantly cutting labor costs. The result is a fully optimized rice processing line featuring intelligent control, data visualization, standardized finished products, and unmanned factory operations. With quality sorting equipment as the core, ANYORT’s R&D team successfully integrated the S+ Analyzer into the production line monitoring system, greatly simplifying complex rice processing procedures.

After nearly two years of factory construction and continuous production line optimization and debugging, in September 2021, Vietnam’s first standardized 600-ton Quality Sorting 6S Rice Production Line was officially put into operation. This milestone transformed Mr. Nguyen’s company from an ordinary rice mill into a regional benchmark for intelligent rice processing. What started as an unknown small rice mill now supplies rice products across the entire country, with Mr. Nguyen emerging as a leading figure in Vietnam’s rice processing industry.
