Nuts, fruit, coffee, potatoes, and many more. As raw materials become increasingly diverse, sorting is evolving from simply removing defects to selecting products that meet specific quality standards.
From October 17 to 21, 2026, SIAL Paris took place in Paris, France. A major international platform for food industry business and innovation, the exhibition brought together approximately 8,000 exhibitors from 130 countries and showcased 400,000 products. ANYSORT presented its MK Series and Visualized X-Ray AI Super Agent Quality Sorter, joining food processors from around the world to explore a practical question: How can we retain more good raw materials?
Beyond Nuts and Coffee, Everything Can Be Sorted
At the ANYSORT booth, nuts and coffee were key highlights, reflecting a broader range of customer needs.
Some visitors brought nuts of different grades and wanted to reduce manual sorting. Others focused on the appearance and consistent quality of coffee beans. Processors of freeze-dried fruits, beans, and vegetables also stopped by to ask whether intelligent sorting could help improve the quality of their own products.
The answer is becoming clearer: Different products, different standards, and custom intelligent sorting solutions.
The MK Series evaluates multiple characteristics—including color, size, shape, and integrity—according to the quality requirements of different foods. For customers, the real question is not how many technologies a machine uses, but whether it can sort more accurately, minimize the loss of good material, and deliver more consistent finished-product quality.
An ANYSORT customer in the nut industry: “In the past, we relied heavily on manual experience to grade our products. Now we can specify the product standards we want to ANYSORT’s machine, helping us achieve more consistent quality at the discharge outlets.”

Looking Beyond the Surface
Food quality is not always visible on the surface. The Visualized AI X-Ray Machine on display extends inspection into the interior of products. For nuts and other foods, it can help identify hidden internal defects while also detecting foreign matter such as stones and glass mixed into raw materials.
These solutions illustrate ANYSORT’s approach in Paris. The MK Series focuses on visible quality characteristics and grading, while AI X-ray inspection adds detection of internal defects and foreign matter. The two methods complement each other to support quality control across production.
From nuts, coffee, and fruit to plastics, minerals, and more, different materials call for different sorting criteria. This is why ANYSORT offers sorting solutions tailored to customer requirements.

One machine handles flexible quality standards
At the booth, the questions went beyond whether a product could be sorted. One of the most valuable aspects of SIAL Paris was hearing the different challenges faced by processors from different markets.
“What happens when our raw materials change from one harvest season to the next?” “Can we grade products by quality while also removing defects?”
These questions help explain why ANYSORT continues to develop beyond standalone sorting equipment toward more flexible quality sorting solutions.

“Most visitors at this exhibition wanted to know how to reduce material loss, maintain consistent quality, and handle more types of raw materials with one machine,” said Jasper, manager of ANYSORT. “Our machines can be configured to customers’ requirements, allowing only one operator to apply different grading and defect-removal standards to different materials on the same machine.”
The idea that “Everything Can Be Sorted” does not mean applying one standard to every product. It means enabling equipment to respond to the quality criteria of different materials. For ANYSORT, the future of intelligent sorting is about retaining more good products, reducing waste, and unlocking greater value from every raw material.
